Certified Dental Assistant Radiology Certification Full Job Description Overview:
Graig D. Brown, DDS, is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our established periodontal practice in Tucson. We are looking for a dependable, team-oriented professional with strong surgical assisting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Thursday | 7:30 AM-5:00
PM Work Location:
In Person -
Tucson, AZ Pay:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Time (PST) Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) options Four-day work week Responsibilities Assist the doctor during periodontal, implant, and oral surgery procedures Take digital X-rays and assist with cone beam CT imaging Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and operatories Provide post-operative instructions and patient education Schedule follow-up and post-op appointments Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation Monitor inventory and maintain clinical supplies Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and safety standards Support a positive patient experience and maintain relationships with referring offices Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant (Required) Arizona X-Ray/Radiology Certification (Required) Minimum 2 years of surgical dental assisting experience (Required) Dental implant surgical experience (Required) Experience with digital radiography and CT imaging Dentrix experience preferred but not required Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills If you are a motivated Surgical Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced periodontal practice and providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
