Immediate opening for a medical assistant with dermatology and surgical assisting experience . Must have verifiable experience with aesthetic procedures and assisting with surgical procedures. Nextech experience is a plus! EMR documentation, scribing experience, rooming patients, and previous experience assisting with procedures (including surgery) is necessary. Previous experience in a dermatology practice is preferred. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multiple provider clinic environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Room patients, assist providers with cosmetic procedures, surgeries and exams while documenting the encounter for providers. Provide meticulous charting/scribing in EMR system (Nextech) Process clinical patient phone calls, including providing pathology results. Process prescriptions. Adhere to all requirements of a medical office including HIPAA, OSHA and client confidentiality. Perform other medical and office tasks as needed. •This description is not all-inclusive.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent . Graduate of Medical Assisting program . Demonstrated ability to be a part of and excel in a team based environment. Must be extremely attentive to detail, and able to comprehend and carry out directions from provider(s). Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Must be reliable and have excellent attendance. Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Typing speed of 50+wpm.
