Oral Surgical Assistant Muir Oral, Facial and Dental Implant Surgery •REO Consulting is the recruitment partner of the hiring organization. Full time (32 hrs./week):
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday:
7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday:
8-12 &
Friday:
7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. $30-$35 per hour based on experience After 90 days of employment: Eligible for medical coverage, 5 days sick leave, paid holidays, bonus plan After 12 months of employment: 5 days paid vacation, eligible for matching 401K plan After 24 months of employment: 10 days paid vacation A well-established oral surgery office is looking to hire a full-time Oral Surgical Assistant for our location in Walnut Creek, California. Detail-oriented individuals with outstanding clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to their work are encouraged to apply. Duties & Responsibilities Assisting during surgical procedures Assist patients before, during, and after surgery Aid with anesthesia/sedation and nitrous oxide Taking 3D Scans, Panoramic, and Periapical radiographs Educate patients on procedures along with pre-and post-operative care Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with applicable infection control guidelines Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer's guidelines Prepare tray setups for oral surgery procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory Qualifications 5+ years of assisting in an oral surgery or dental assisting setting CPR Certified Knowledge of Dentrix or DSN dental software is preferred
