Surgical Assistant

Job Summary Advanced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Aurora is looking for a motivated Surgical Assistant to join our team. Experience preferred in dental or oral surgery assisting.

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeon chairside during oral surgery procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments (OSHA compliant) Set up surgical rooms and surgical equipment Assist with anesthesia and patient monitoring Maintain sterile field and manage suction/irrigation Assist with patient recovery and postop instructions Clean and restock surgical rooms

Qualifications:

Dental or surgical assisting experience preferred Oral surgery experience a plus CPR certification or ability to obtain DANCE certification is a plus Strong communication skills and patient-focused attitude
