OMSS, (Oral Maxillofacial Surgical Specialists) , is seeking a Full-Time Oral Surgery Assistant to support surgeons and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced oral surgery practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment and operating rooms for procedures. Ready patients for surgery and assist throughout procedures. Support surgeons chairside, including: Operatory setup and cleanup Anesthesia support Surgical assistance Monitor patients during IV sedation, including vital signs and airway management. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards. Manage inventory of supplies and medications. Maintain procedure documentation and patient records. Assist with dental implant procedures when needed. Required Qualifications CPR certification. Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience. Ability to take high-quality digital X-rays and CT scans. Knowledge of medical and dental terminology. Strong interpersonal and patient-care skills. Passion for delivering excellent patient experiences. Preferred Qualifications Oral surgery experience. Operating room experience. Dental implant experience and charting knowledge. Familiarity with ICD/CPT codes. Experience with OMS Vision or similar practice management software.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

An ideal candidate would have at least two years of dental assisting experience, be CPR certified, possess strong chairside and surgical assisting skills, understand oral surgery workflows, and be comfortable monitoring patients during IV sedation while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
