Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting dental and surgical procedures by ensuring a sterile environment and assisting the surgical team with various tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and infection control practices. The Surgical Assistant will work closely with both patients and dental professionals to provide exceptional care and support. Duties Assist the Periodontist during procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support. Prepare and maintain the surgical area, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use. Document medical information accurately in patient records, adhering to medical documentation standards. Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations. Take Radiographs and CT Scans Ability to multi-task and Prioritize tasks Communicate effectively with patients to explain pre- and post- op procedures and provide comfort before, during, and after surgery. Collaborate with the Front to manage patient flow and scheduling efficiently. Prepare Correspondence for the patient's General Dentist Team-player Experience Candidates should possess a background in dental assisting or a related field. Experience with the following skills is preferred: Periodontics Medical documentation Dental terminology Aseptic technique Infection control Four-handed dentistry Familiarity with dental systems We are looking for individuals who are
