Why You'll Love Working With Us Supportive, collaborative team culture Personalized patient care with time to do things right Focus on clinical excellence and professional growth Fast-growing surgical practice offering advanced procedures What You'll Do Assist primarily in All-on-X (AOX) and full-arch surgeries, as well as wisdom teeth extractions, sinus grafts, biopsies, and other related oral surgery procedures Provide surgical assistance 1-2 days per week, including operatory setup, chairside assistance, and breakdown Assist with hybrid deliveries, initial records, and post-operative visits Prepare operatories, surgical trays, and materials, including general anesthesia cases Support sterilization and instrument processing while maintaining strict OSHA and infection-control Job standards Assist with post-operative patient care, instructions, and follow-up communication Complete post-operative phone calls and help monitor patient recovery Support clinical coordination, including scheduling, charting, and documentation Obtain and track required medical clearances for general anesthesia cases Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Contribute to a calm, professional, patient-focused surgical environment Skills & Experience Experience assisting in oral surgery; AOX / full-arch experience strongly preferred Comfortable assisting with general anesthesia, IV sedation, and oxygen administration (as permitted by state regulations) Proficient with CBCT, panoramic, and periapical radiographs Knowledge of sterilization protocols, autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and instrument maintenance Familiarity with hybrid restorations, surgical workflows, and post-operative protocols Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting Training will be provided for qualified candidates in areas where additional experience is needed What You Need Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience CPR certification Benefits Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Health and vision insurance Employer-paid dental insurance, life insurance, EAP, and Care.com membership Supplemental insurance options (disability, critical illness, accident) Paid scrub allowance Opportunities for career growth and development At Riverside Dental, you're not just taking the next step in your career — you're joining a team that values quality care, professionalism, and long-term success.
