Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant/Surgical Assistant to join our Oral Surgery practice serving the Central Florida area for over 50 years . This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, eager to learn, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You'll work alongside our surgeons and clinical team to ensure every patient receives a safe, comfortable, and positive experience.Schedule:
- Average 35-40 hours per week
- Must be available to begin work at 7:30 AM
- Flexibility with scheduling is required
- Four day work week
Responsibilities :
- Surgical Assisting
Patient Care Qualifications :
- Minimum one year of dental assisting experience preferred. Oral Surgery experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and clinical protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to work efficiently in a surgical setting
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software programs
- Experience documenting patient care in an electronic medical record (EMR)
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to exceptional patient care
