Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our holistic dental practice. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a surgical dental environment, and wants to be part of a practice that takes a whole-body approach to oral health. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the doctor's needs during both routine and surgical procedures. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping the clinical environment clean, sterile, organized, and running efficiently. We are looking for someone who:
- Assist the dentist during general, restorative, surgical, and implant procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before procedures
- Assist with dental implant surgeries, extractions, bone grafting, PRF, surgical procedures, and other procedures
- Has previous dental assisting experience
- Has surgical and/or implant experience preferred
- Is confident assisting chairside
- Understands proper sterilization and infection-control procedures
- Is extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Is dependable and takes initiative
- Can multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Has excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Is professional, friendly, and compassionate
- Can work independently while also being a strong team player
- Is willing to learn our holistic approach and protocols
- Takes pride in keeping the office clean, organized, and running efficiently Our practice takes a whole-body, holistic approach to dentistry . The assistant should be comfortable LEARNING and supporting our approach to patient care, including:
- Zirconia implants
- Biological/holistic dental protocols
- Ozone therapy
- PRF and regenerative procedures
- Surgical extractions
- Bone grafting
- Mercury/amalgam removal protocols
- TMJ and airway-related treatment
- Digital imaging and CBCT/3D imaging
- Minimally invasive and patient-focused dentistry Previous experience with holistic, biological, surgical, implant, or regenerative dentistry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right experienced dental assistant.
