Orthopedic practice located in South Miami Florida, Benefits Available. We are looking for a compassionate, independent, and friendly candidate who can perform the following functions: Assist Physicians and PA in patient rooms Vitals and entering past medical history in EMR Surgical Scheduling Authorization of Surgery Procedures with health plans and Workers Comp Manage phone calls and maintain correspondence between patient and doctor. Collaborate with MD , Physician Assistant and Staff Assist with entering MRI, CT and other outside orders in EMR Prepare and maintain medical tools and equipment. Perform additional medical and administrative duties. Assist and train as needed EMR experience Set up injections, surgical in office procedures and patient rooms Educate and update patients on medical treatments and procedures Communicate with staff Assist and cross train in surgical scheduling
