• The Assistant Nurse Manager responsibilities include:
• + Proficiency in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.

+ Supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues. + Supporting the ongoing team member performance appraisal, hiring, and counseling and terminating process. + Acting as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information. + Performing other duties as assigned.

• Qualifications:

• Certifications and Licensures:

• + BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required + RN (Registered Nurse) license is required + RN Nursing Specialty certification is preferred

• Education:

• + Bachelors degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field is required.

• Experience:

• 2 years of RN experience in acute care, post-acute, or sub-acute experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience is preferred.
