Patients get to experience top-notch healthcare with modern technology and a team with a focus of excellence for every patient, every time. Greets and assists all patients and/or customers who are present in Upson Surgical Associates Facility. Puts together daily patient charts. Attain diagnostic test, labs, and referral information for physician review. Readies patients for examination and assists physicians during patient encounters. Answers patient questions and educates regarding minor office procedures. Maintains medical records information for patient visits, other referrals, insurance pre-certification information, and billing information to complete the patient office encounter. Will be required to work all shifts, as needed, including holidays. Frequent travel to multiple office locations. Offers friendly, courteous and confidential assistance to every patient to ensure that the patient has a positive experience while at Upson Surgical Associates.
Required:
High school diploma or
GED. CPR
certification. One or more years' experience as a medical assistant in a medical office environment.
Desired:
Medical assistant Certification desired. Two or more years' experience in a Medical/Surgical office practice or hospital environment.
