Every 4th Weekend Local & Travel Candidates Welcome We are hiring an experienced Surgical Assistant for a 13-week contract assignment in Oak Lawn, IL. First-time travelers are welcome! Responsibilities Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures, including general, GYN, urology, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, transplant, and cardiac cases. Perform both Surgical Assistant and Surgical Technologist duties as required. Assist with open-heart/CABG and hybrid room procedures when qualified. Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields, instruments, and equipment. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and other surgical team members. Provide support for inpatient, outpatient, and trauma surgical cases. Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of acute care/surgical experience Active required certification/license BLS Certification CSA Certification #healthcare
Pay:
$2,016.00 - $2,268.00 per week
