A Surgical Assistant assists in operations, under the supervision of surgeons. May, in accordance with state laws, help surgeons to make incisions and close surgical sites, manipulate or remove tissues, implant surgical devices or drains, suction the surgical site, place catheters, clamp or cauterize vessels or tissue, and apply dressings to surgical site.

- Sign-on Bonus up to $20,000 AND Education Assistance (student loan payoff) up to $24,000 for eligible hires. Relocation assistance also available!
- As a Surgical First Assistant, you will provide critical patient care by directly assisting the surgeon during operative procedures, working under their immediate direction.

- Education and Experience
- + Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program required. + One year of surgical technician experience required. + One year Surgical Assisting experience preferred.
- Licensure and Certifications
- + Certified First Assistant - Certified Surgical Technologists (CST/CSFA) required.
