Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active RN license (compact or Massachusetts) RNFA certification required Minimum of 2 years' experience in RN First Assist roles Strong intraoperative and aseptic technique knowledge BLS and ACLS certification Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Offer skilled first assist support during a variety of surgical procedures Prepare and manage the surgical environment for optimal patient outcomes Provide hands-on support with wound closure, hemostasis, and exposure Collaborate and communicate effectively with surgical team members throughout all perioperative phases Support patient assessment, education, and post-surgical care
