• DAANCE Certification preferred!
• Dentrix experience required! Responsibilities
• Assist oral surgeon during surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and readily available.
• Provide chairside assistance, anticipating the needs of the oral surgeon and maintaining a sterile field throughout the procedure.
• Utilize knowledge of Dental assisting techniques to support the oral surgeon in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections in the oral surgery setting.
• Document patient information accurately using Dentrix software, ensuring all records are up to date and organized.
• Assist in taking X-rays and other medical imaging as needed for oral surgery procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and ensure smooth patient flow in the oral surgery practice. Qualifications

Additionally, experience with Dentrix and dental assisting is highly preferred for this position.
