- Dentrix experience required! Responsibilities
- Assist oral surgeon during surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and readily available.
- Provide chairside assistance, anticipating the needs of the oral surgeon and maintaining a sterile field throughout the procedure.
- Utilize knowledge of Dental assisting techniques to support the oral surgeon in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections in the oral surgery setting.
- Document patient information accurately using Dentrix software, ensuring all records are up to date and organized.
- Assist in taking X-rays and other medical imaging as needed for oral surgery procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and ensure smooth patient flow in the oral surgery practice. Qualifications
