Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into an essential role within a dynamic surgical team, supporting patients and surgical staff with your strong background as a Certified Surgical Technologist or ORT. In this contract position, your attention to detail, expertise in sterile technique, and commitment to patient safety will be highly valued as you assist in a variety of surgical procedures. Qualifications and Preferred Experience Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician (ORT) Proven experience in surgical settings, supporting perioperative care In-depth knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and operating room staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for procedures Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during operations Ensure equipment functions properly and sterile techniques are followed Monitor and maintain the surgical environment's cleanliness and safety Handle surgical specimens appropriately Support patient transfer and operating suite turnover between procedures Accurately count instruments, sponges, and supplies for patient safety As a valued part of the surgical team, you'll have the chance to enhance your skills and make a direct impact on patient outcomes.
