Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare environment as an experienced ORT/Surgical Tech - Certified professional. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Assist surgical teams during procedures by anticipating needs and managing tools. Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique to prevent infection. Safeguard proper equipment functioning and handle immediate troubleshooting as needed. Support patient positioning and provide essential operating room setup and turnover between cases. Follow all safety guidelines and facility protocols to ensure quality outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours; shifts and duration detailed during the interview process. Flexibility to work variable hours based on surgical schedules.
Qualifications:
Current certification as an ORT or Surgical Technologist. Recent experience in an operating room or surgical setting. Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques. Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a multidisciplinary team. Comfortable with fast-paced, high-stress situations. Commitment to patient care and meticulous attention to detail.
