Responsibilities Assist during surgical procedures by handing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Prepare treatment rooms with appropriate dental instruments, sterilized equipment, and materials in accordance with infection prevention management policies Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture accurate medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems OMSVision while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Support patient management by taking vital signs, explaining procedures clearly using dental terminology, and providing compassionate patient care throughout the surgical process Maintain strict infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques in line with healthcare infection prevention guidelines Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team to optimize workflow and patient comfort during chairside assisting Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or Surgical Assistant within the dental field and or outpaitient or operating room hospital setting. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental equipment operation, and medical documentation practices Familiarity with EMR systems such as OMSVision; experience with patient management software is highly desirable Proficiency in dental x-ray procedures, oral surgery assistance preferred but willing to train the right canidate Understanding of infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures essential for maintaining clinical safety standards Ability to accurately interpret medical terminology and document medical records following clinical confidentiality policies Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude towards patient care and team collaboration Join us in providing top-tier surgical assistance that elevates patient experiences while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment.
