We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Surgical Assistant to join our growing team. Position Overview The Surgical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the surgeon and ensuring safe, efficient patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. Whether you are an experienced oral surgery assistant or a highly motivated dental assistant looking to expand your skills, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and surgical suites for patient care Assist the surgeon during oral surgery procedures Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment Monitor and support patient comfort throughout treatment Take diagnostic imaging as directed Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient instructions Maintain accurate clinical documentation using DSN practice management software Follow all infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols Manage operatory turnover and inventory as needed Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to deliver an exceptional patient experience Qualifications Current Dental Assistant certification as required by state regulations Oral surgery experience preferred but not required Experience assisting with extractions, implants, bone grafting, IV sedation, or surgical procedures is a plus Current radiology certification CPR certification required Experience with DSN software is a plus Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced surgical environment What We're Looking For We are looking for a team member who is dependable, eager to learn, clinically focused and committed to providing an exceptional experience for every patient.
