Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during surgical/anesthesia procedures in a private practice oral surgery center
• Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Collect and analyze patient data, including vital signs, to ensure patient safety and optimize surgical outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
• Handle specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Document surgical procedures in electronic medical record systems.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center or critical care setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with electronic devices.
