RocPerio & Implants is looking to hire a surgical dental assistant to join our amazing team. We are an office that specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease, laser periodontal therapy, guided bone and tissue regeneration and the placement of single or full mouth dental implants. We are looking to hire a dental assistant to support our doctors and the doctors' treatment coordinators. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Chairside assisting/ four-handed dentistry. Must also have proficiency of electronic charting (Open Dental).
• Proper sterilization and storage/knowledge of dental instrumentation.
• Follow proper radiation safety/ infection control protocols.
• This is a very high tech office. We mostly utilize the technology of digital x-rays, digital impressions, 3D scanning and have an on-site digital lab with 3D printers. Must be willing and able to learn these technologies. What we are looking for in a surgical assistant is someone who:
• Has the ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.
• Past experience in dentistry and candidates who are categorized as a certified Dental Assistant or NYS RDA preferred. Past experience in periodontics and oral surgery a plus but, we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Can work as a team player with the other employees in the office.
• Someone who is outgoing with a friendly disposition that can ease the anxieties of nervous patients. It is important to also be able to advise patients on pre and post operative expectations.
• Someone who is reliable and has availability to work full days during the week.

This is a full time position Monday-Thursday and occasional Fridays. Serious inquiries only.
