Summary We are seeking a surgical Assistant Leader/coordinator to join our team at Yanich Oral Surgery & Dental Implants. This role is essential in supporting our dental professionals while ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. The Assistant Leader will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency of our operations and contributing to a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Assist dental professionals during procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared. Staff training Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Running-leading emergency drills Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Provide support in the training and supervision of junior staff members. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and address any concerns they may have. Monitor vital signs as needed and assist with patient assessments before procedures. Requirements Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, particularly in oral surgery or related fields. Proficiency with winOMS software for managing patient records and scheduling. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental procedures. Familiarity with medical documentation practices. Nitrous Oxide certification preferred DAANCE certification preferred but also available to strong candidates Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
