Job Overview We are a fee for service oral and facial surgery practice focused on comprehensive implant and surgical care — including full-arch restoration and orthognathic surgery. This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Surgical Assistant who is an expert in dental technologies to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting our oral surgeon during surgical procedures and optimizing our practice's efficiency through the effective utilization of dental technologies and streamlined file management systems. Duties Assist oral surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art dental technologies to enhance precision and patient outcomes. Proficiently manage patient records and treatment documentation using electronic file management systems Take digital records using CBCT, IOS, Facial Scans and Modjaw to harness the power of technology to provide comprehensive diagnostic information and treatment planning support. Utilize 3D imaging technology for precise treatment planning including a virtual patient avatar. Collaborate with the dental team to implement and optimize the use of emerging dental technologies, staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. Educate patients on the benefits of dental technology and digital treatment modalities, enhancing their understanding and confidence in their oral health care journey. Requirements The right candidate will bring: Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program. Proven expertise in dental technologies, including digital radiography, intraoral scanning, and 3D imaging systems. Proficiency in EMR and file management software, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and organization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with patients. Strong attention to detail.
