Job Description

Searching for full-time Oral Surgical Assistant to joint team-oriented specialty practice in Port Angeles, WA. Ideally candidate is personable, hard-working, with good attention to detail and possession of basic computer skills. Position to be available October 5, 2026. The Oral Surgical Assistant works directly with the surgeon to aid in performing direct patient/surgical care by preparing/sterilizing all necessary instrumentation, starting patient IVs, taking all digital/radiographic imaging required for patient care. They maintain a clean surgical field through retraction / suction, they push sedation medication at the surgeon's request, they will help in making sure the procedure is as comfortable and as safe as possible for the patient (to include patient positioning, conversation, education). Accessory duties include maintaining a clean, inviting, well stocked and organized work area / facility. The assistant is also responsible for scheduling patients, post-operative phone checks, and documenting in patient charts. Experience is preferred, but not required. Upon hiring candidate would need to procure the following certifications: BLS Certification, Washington State Dental Assistant License & Dental Anesthesia Assistant Certification Compensation to be determined based on experience.
