A prominent oral surgery practice is seeking a motivated, hardworking, compassionate, and detail-oriented Surgical Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Whether you are an experienced assistant or new to oral surgery, we provide comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced surgical environment. As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you will work directly alongside our oral surgeons, assisting with outpatient anesthesia and surgical procedures while helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their experience. What You'll Do Assist with IV sedation and oral surgery procedures Monitor and document patient vital signs during anesthesia Prepare treatment rooms and surgical equipment Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Take digital radiographs and maintain electronic patient records Provide pre- and post-operative patient education Support efficient patient flow while delivering exceptional customer service Work closely with doctors and teammates to provide outstanding patient care What We're Looking For Hardworking and motivated Positive attitude and willingness to learn Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment Professional, dependable, and compassionate Dexterity and ability to multitask BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain) Washington State Dental Assistant Registration (or willingness to obtain) Dental assisting experience preferred but not required Dental anesthesia assistant certification required.
