Responsibilities:
Prepare surgical operating rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are sterile and functional Assist surgeons and operating room staff before, during, and after procedures Strictly adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times Manage and monitor surgical instruments throughout procedures Provide post-operative support, ensuring patient safety and comfort Accurately document operative procedures and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Registered Nurse (ORT) with current credentials Recent operating room experience in an acute care or hospital setting Advanced understanding of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques Strong communication skills and ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations BLS or equivalent certification (required)
