This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in the operating room—whether you are an experienced OR Technician, a certified Surgical Technologist, or have honed your skills as a non-certified Surgical Tech.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as an OR Technician, Surgical Tech (Certified), or Surgical Tech (Non-certified) Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control procedures Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and support staff Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to work efficiently in high-stress, fast-paced surgical environments Flexibility to accommodate procedural schedule changes and workload demands
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain sterile fields before and during surgical procedures Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants Monitor and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and inventory Assist with the preparation and transportation of patients to the operating room Handle specimens, dispose of medical waste appropriately, and support procedural documentation as required Collaborate closely with surgical and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and seamless workflows
