Key Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent education/experience preferred Previous operating room and/or surgical scrub experience preferred Surgery Technician certification preferred CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider required CNA certification a plus

Core Responsibilities:

Prepare surgical suites; set up sterile fields and surgical instruments Assist with retraction, instrument passing, and supply management during procedures Label and handle solutions per established standards Maintain cleanliness and organization, performing occasional housekeeping duties Accurately complete instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with RN Transport patients according to operating room schedules and priorities Support clerical functions and data collection Uphold hospital infection-prevention and safety protocols
