Advanced Surgery Center of North County is looking for a Surgical Scrub Technician - Part -Time Advanced Surgery Center of North County is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes for patients and their families. We are located in Escondido, CA. What You Will Do (Job Summary): The Surgical Technician scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. This position is part time with benefits. Part-time requires 20 - 29 hours/week. Starting Hourly Wage Range:

$33 to $40 per hour depending on experience

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification preferred.
• 1+ years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in multiple specialties
• Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other skills and abilities:

General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
