Job Description:
As a surgical technician at Ssvascular, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest standard of care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sterilized.
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
- Maintaining a sterile field throughout the surgical process and adhering to aseptic techniques to prevent infections.
- Handling and disposing of surgical specimens in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Participating in the maintenance and troubleshooting of surgical equipment and instruments.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:- Certification as a surgical technologist from an accredited program.
- Proven experience working as a surgical technician in a healthcare setting.
- In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
