We are experiencing steady growth in surgical volume and are committed to providing exceptional patient care in an efficient, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Our staff and surgeons work together to deliver excellence with every case. Position Summary Chestnut Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support both urology and ophthalmology surgeries, uphold the highest standards of sterile technique and surgical safety. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up instruments, supplies, and equipment. Assist surgeons and nurses during urology and ophthalmology procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique. Perform sterile processing duties, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments. Collaborate closely with clinical and surgical staff to support workflow efficiency and patient safety. Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred. Sterile Processing experience preferred. Previous ASC or hospital operating room experience in urology and/or ophthalmology desired. Strong understanding of sterile technique and instrument care.
