Job Description

Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Telemetry Technician for our Med-Surg Department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. Created to provide residents of Oakdale and the surrounding rural communities with access to superior quality medical information, treatment and care, Oak Valley Hospital District was formed in 1968 and has evolved to meet the changing medical needs of the local community. With a hospital and emergency department, skilled nursing facility, four healthcare clinics, occupational healthcare clinic, and an ambulance company, OVHD is well equipped to care of our incredible community.

The Telemetry Monitor Technician works at the nursing station performing clerical and receptionist duties and requisitioning supplies equipment and services from other departments. This person is also responsible for continuous monitoring of patient on telemetry monitor. He/She will print rhythm strips as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Telemetry certification or documented competency within 90 days Familiar with medical terminology Experience in a health care setting is preferred Ability to operate office equipment (copy machines, FAX, adding machines, and computer) CPR certified, or complete within 90 days Current AHA BLS High School graduate or equivalent required

$19.50 - $24.00 per hour
