Minimum 1-2 years operating room surgical tech experience- plastic surgery experience beneficial but not required. Knowledge of sterile technique, set-up and maintenance of sterile field required as well as sterile processing of instruments in an ambulatory surgical center. Applicant will assist surgeon in the OR as well as office procedures. Responsibilities may include yet are not limited to: Communicate clearly with patients in person and over the phone Able to be flexible in role and with patient care Surgical days prep OR for patient and procedure Perform QA's as appropriate for the day. Set up sterile field and maintain sterility throughout procedure Assist MD throughout laser procedure and surgical procedures Clean and Sterilize Instruments, equipment and surgical rooms. Attention to infection control protocols. Maintain OR and PACU cleanliness with AAAASF standards Assist MD or RN with clinical procedures Back office and OR stocking Maintain clean environment in office and patient rooms Front desk duties as needed i.e. answering phones, scheduling patients, managing the flow of patients.
