The individual must know aseptic technique and be able to scrub independently in orthopedic procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgeon, and have knowledge in the sequencing of the surgical procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Orthopedic experience working in an ambulatory surgery center Active American Heart Association CPR C ertification High School D iploma or equivalent experience This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations

Preferred Qualifications:

Surgical Technologist Certification Completion of Surgical Technologist Program within past two years
