Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures. Establish and maintain a sterile field , ensuring strict adherence to aseptic and infection control standards. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, supplies, and medications , performing surgical counts, and supporting safe, efficient operating room workflow. Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience or completion of a Surgical Technologist/Scrub Technician program . Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (Required). Surgical Technologist certification . Experience with sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
