Key Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Associate/Technical degree or related experience preferred Scrub technician and operating room experience preferred Surgery Technician certification preferred Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and operative equipment Prepare cases by verifying required supplies and equipment Assist with patient transport, housekeeping, and clerical support as needed Perform accurate counting of instruments, sponges, needles, and blades with RN collaboration Ensure scrupulous adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols
