1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week acute care hospital OR assignment requiring 2 years of experience. 10-hour day shifts, 630a-7p, set schedule with option to block 36 guaranteed hours per week Approximately 120 hours of call required per contract, self-scheduled between weekday and weekend One weekend shift required per 6 weeks Holiday call preferred but not required Call response time of 30 minutes, with an on-site sleep room available Minimal floating required; only in extreme need within Zone 1 (PEN, SFH, SFI, SMC, STM) Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required BLS certification (AHA) required Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA required License required if applicable Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required for the state of submission; pending licenses not accepted Driver's license copy required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Additional Information Scrubs are provided One week of unit/department-specific orientation required Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are remote Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility per Colorado facility radius policy Colorado float radius policy requires travelers to secure housing that allows them to float within their assigned zone if needed
