1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience for a day-shift position at a short-term acute care, Level III trauma center in Connecticut. Details Hospital-based general OR setting within a short-term acute care, Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System Procedures include total joints, neuro, spine, Da Vinci robotic surgery, GYN/GU, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, and bariatrics Schedule is 5x8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm Rotational night call required one weeknight per week (11pm-7am) Weekend call consists of one 24-hour shift on Saturday and one on Sunday per month Holiday call rotation is required

Epic Free parking on-site Requirements Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in the OR (1.5 years may be considered with Level I trauma or travel experience) Experience in total joints, neuro, spine, Da Vinci robotic surgery, and GYN/GU cases required BLS certification required CST certification required — NBSTSA or NCCT credential accepted; only one required Scrubbing skills required Travel experience required CT license required if applicable (allow 15-21 business days for issuance; candidates must apply prior to consideration) 1 professional reference required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted COVID vaccine and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted Pre-start orientation modules are required and completed prior to the assignment start date 13-week contract
