$2000-$2200/weekKey Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled surgical technologist support throughout operative procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before and during procedures.
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team with instrumentation, positioning, and intraoperative needs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Total Joint procedures using the MAKO robotic system and Ortho-Spine procedures using the Globus robotic system .
- Support a variety of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Vascular Surgery (non-endovascular) .
- Utilize and maintain knowledge of robotic surgical technology; Da Vinci experience is preferred .
- Perform surgical counts and maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection-control standards.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure appropriate instruments and supplies are available.
- Assist with room turnover, equipment preparation, and maintaining an organized operating room.
- Participate in assigned on-call responsibilities, including approximately one evening/night per week and every 5th weekend.
- Follow facility policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of Surgical Technologist/OR experience.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Demonstrated experience with Total Joint/MAKO robotics .
- Demonstrated experience with Ortho-Spine/Globus robotics .
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties, including General, GYN, Urology, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Vascular Surgery.
- Da Vinci robotic experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and operating room procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other OR personnel.
