Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital role supporting surgical teams with your expertise in Nursing•ORT and First Assist Tech skills. This opportunity involves working closely with surgeons and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care before, during, and after operative procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Certified or licensed in Nursing•ORT, with experience as a First Assist Tech Proven background in perioperative environments, including pre-op and post-op support Thorough understanding of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation Excellent organizational skills and the ability to anticipate surgical team needs Strong communication for effective collaboration under pressure Commitment to upholding patient safety and confidentiality standards
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are properly sterilized and set up Act as first assist during surgeries, providing support to the surgeon and circulating nurse as needed Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and offer appropriate intervention Maintain accurate documentation relating to surgical procedures and patient status Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols Assist with post-operative care, transferring patients, and supporting recovery efforts Perks of this
