OR Care Tech Responsibilities:
Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN. Responsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments and sterilizers.
Requirements:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred
  • Technical Program Completion or Degree
  • Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in procedural and/or perioperative in-patient care.
