You'll prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and ensure every patient receives compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience What qualifications you will need: High School Diploma/GED Graduate from Surgical Technician Program Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Minimum of one year of surgery experience (Women's Services preferred) HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
