HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified OR Technician (PRN) to support surgical services in our Nashville facility. In this PRN role, you'll prepare and maintain the operating room, ensure proper sterilization and equipment setup, and assist the surgical team during procedures. You will manage instrument counts, follow strict infection control standards, and help with room turnover between cases. Working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, you'll contribute directly to safe, efficient surgeries while gaining exposure to diverse cases and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain operating room, ensuring sterile environment and proper equipment setup for surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and nursing staff by anticipating needs, passing instruments, and managing supplies during operations. Perform pre- and post-operative room turnover, including cleaning, restocking, and equipment checks. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards to protect patients and staff. Document procedures, instrument counts, and equipment usage accurately in accordance with hospital policies. Collaborate with the surgical team to support efficient workflow and high-quality patient outcomes. Support emergency and on-call procedures as needed in a fast-paced environment.
