Job Description
Department Operating Room Job Summary The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) functions in a scrub role for operative and other invasive procedures including establishing and maintaining a sterile field, specimen handling, counts, medications/solutions, implants and instrument processing and may assist with circulating duties, as well as, participate in activities related to standards and quality improvement for the specialty and the department.
Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as a CST, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $26.15, max of salary range is $39.25. Required Qualifications- Require active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Completion of a Surgical Technician program
- Ability to sit for certification exam Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer knowledgeable of selected specialty.
- Prefer ability in one-on-one demonstration of sterile technique.
