• Full-time Job Summary North Crescent Surgery Center is a fast-paced outpatient OBGYN surgery center in Alpharetta and is currently looking for an experienced OR Surgical ScrubTech.

Our hours are Monday-Friday 0545-1500 (times may vary according to the surgery schedule), no weekends and no call. Responsibilities and Duties This professional anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides OBGYN outpatient surgical services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment for the patient.

Other duties include:

open and set up OR room for OBGYN surgical cases, assist surgeon during case, assist in the safe positioning of patients, perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse, work in sterile processing (clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments), turn over OR rooms after each surgical case, pull cases for following day, manage inventory, restock the OR rooms as needed, maintain confidentiality of patient records, and perform other tasks as assigned by the Clinical Manager and the Director of the center. Education, Training and Experience This individual must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in the Operating Room, OBGYN surgical experience preferred. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Lengthy periods of standing. Move patient stretchers, carts, and equipment. Assist with the positioning of surgical patients for surgery. Carry and lift instrument trays and various items of equipment. Exposure to anesthetic gases, hazardous chemicals, blood and body fluids, and sharps. Qualifications and Skills Experienced Operating Room Surgical Scrub Techs only CPR required
