Qualifications:

Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or CVOR Tech (NBSTSA certification strongly preferred) State licensure or eligibility for licensure, as required At least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, with ACLS preferred Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary surgical teams Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures Assist surgeons and the clinical team during operative procedures with sterile technique Monitor and maintain sterile field integrity throughout surgeries Ensure proper documentation and accurate inventory management of surgical supplies Support post-operative care processes and assist in equipment sterilization and turnover
