Operating Room We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a busy surgical team supporting 5 operating room suites in Athens, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a CST looking for a predictable weekday schedule with no weekends and no call . The position offers the flexibility to work either 4 or 5 days per week , providing a consistent schedule with flexibility in your workweek. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures Ensure appropriate surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are available Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team Perform instrument and supply counts Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases Follow infection prevention, safety, and surgical protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile operating environment Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required Previous operating room experience required Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced OR environment Why This Opportunity Monday-Friday schedule 4 or 5 days per week No weekends No call 5 OR suites Consistent and predictable schedule Collaborative surgical team Opportunity to work across a variety of surgical procedures Excellent work-life balance If you are an experienced CST looking for a stable Monday-Friday OR position with the flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week, with no weekends or call, we would love to connect with you.
