Sign-on Bonus Available $ Full time Nights 7pm-7am Med A is seeking an energetic medical-surgical nurse to join our dynamic team here at Piedmont Athens. We pride ourselves in providing high quality, evidenced based care on a fast paced 30 bed Med-Surg unit. Our Med A staff coordinate health care plans with the entire medical team to provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients suffering from a variety of illnesses and comorbidities including overflow from our specialty care units such as Surgery, Pulmonary, Neuroscience, Oncology, and Orthopedics. Support staff include IV team, home med nurse and lift team. Extenuating circumstances may determine a need for lower or higher ratios• Qualifications Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred Work Experience No experience required 1 year of patient care experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred Certification from a Patient Care Technician program
