What You'll Do As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting surgeons and the operating room team by preparing for procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the availability of instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and organize operating rooms for surgical procedures. Assemble and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating instrument and supply needs. Maintain sterile technique in accordance with AORN and AAMI standards. Participate in sponge, needle, and instrument counts with the circulating nurse. Identify, label, and preserve surgical specimens. Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and application of splints as directed. Clean and prepare operating rooms between procedures. Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment. Protect patient privacy and confidentiality while providing compassionate care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Current BLS Certification required. NBSTSA Certification preferred (or certification eligible). Previous surgical technologist experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply . Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment, including emergency situations and occasional irregular hours. Why Apply?
